How it works
Bunker Bargains AU (working name) collects genuine golf gear deals from Australian stores in one clean, easy-to-search place, with filters for men's and ladies' gear, left-handed clubs and senior flex.
- We check prices once a week on each store's own public product pages, using a small, polite price checker that follows the store's robots.txt and goes slowly. Each card shows when it was checked (Adelaide time).
- We only include stores that allow it. Stores that block automated access, or whose terms ban it, are left out unless they give us permission.
- Two Deals of the Day, one men's and one ladies', are picked each day by a published score (see how), and re-checked on the store's site first.
- We keep the real deals: in stock, at least 15% off, and no more than three per store in each category (four for balls; two men's and two ladies' gloves) so one shop doesn't flood the list. Clubs, shoes, clothing and bags come from clearance sections. Balls, gloves and trolleys also come from the store's normal range when it shows a reduced price, but only if that price is at least 15% below the store's own "was" price.
- We flag the catches, like old models sold against launch RRPs, ex-demo or used clubs, and "was" prices that don't add up.
- You buy from the store. Click through, confirm the price and stock on the store's site, and buy there. We never sell anything ourselves.
Good to know
• "Was" prices are what the store displays. Many are launch RRPs for older models, which we flag on the card.
• Price history is built only from our own weekly checks, starting Fri 23 Oct 2026. The lowest tracked price and 90-day average become meaningful after a few weeks.
• Items that disappear: if a deal isn't found in the latest check (often because it sold out), it's moved out of the main list and shown greyed out at the bottom of the deals page.
• On Course Golf pro shops: On Course is a network of club pro shops selling through oncoursegolf.com.au. We show the online price listed there, and each card names the pro shop selling it. The pro shop's in-store price may differ, and the listing page doesn't show stock, so check the product page before you go. On Course items can be delivered free within Australia, or you can click and collect from the pro shop selling them (named on the card), so collecting only suits you if that shop is nearby. Many On Course clearance items are ex-demo, used or shop-soiled, and we flag that on the card.
• Photos: product photos belong to the brands and stores, so we only show them where we have permission or a licensed feed. Until then each card shows a simple category tile.
• Gloves: most golfers wear one glove on their lead hand. A right-handed golfer wears a left-hand glove. Each glove card says which golfers it fits, based on the sizes in stock.
• Trolleys: each card says whether it's a push trolley or an electric one.
• Price match tips: Drummond Golf, House of Golf and On Course Golf each have a price-match or price-beat policy. Where a store's written rules look like they could cover a deal, the card shows a short tip. The store decides every claim. See our price match rules page for a plain-English summary of each policy.
• Why we bother: on 23 Oct 2026 a price-comparison site listed Mizuno JPX925 Hot Metal irons at $228 "down from $2,093" (−89%). That looks like a single-iron price compared against a full-set price, not a real discount.
Affiliate disclosure
Some links on this site may become affiliate links. If you buy through one, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. It never affects which deals we list or how we describe them. Many stores don't pay us anything, and we list their deals anyway.
Right now none of the links are affiliate links. They're plain links to each store's product page. When that changes, this section will say which stores pay us a commission.
