Iron sets are where clearance savings can be biggest, and where discounts are easiest to misread. Check whether a price is for a full set (and which clubs it includes, such as 5-PW or 4-PW) or for a single iron, because some price comparison sites compare one against the other. These are the iron deals at the stores we check, biggest discount first.

Set make-up: 5-PW is six clubs and 4-PW is seven. Some sets add a gap wedge. Compare like with like.
Steel or graphite: graphite shafts are lighter and usually cost more. The card shows the flex the store lists.
Older models: irons change slowly, so a set from a couple of seasons ago is often a sensible buy. We flag old launch RRPs on the card.
Price match: most clearance clubs are older models, and the policies need the identical item (same model, year and specs). House of Golf and On Course exclude clearance and sale prices, so a match is unlikely there. Drummond's wording doesn't exclude clearance, but they decide. Price match rules.
"Was" prices are what each store displays. We haven't checked that the item sold at that price. Our own price history started on 23 Oct 2026.
